Our Homeschool art program is based on the West Australian Curriculum.
We aim to provide the students with a deep and meaningful art experience, learning the conventions of art while having fun.
- are encouraged and supported to explore their creativity while developing their individual art style. In this program, students work in depth, developing ideas on a theme into one or two pieces of high-quality work over the course of a term.
- experiment with a wide range of media, materials and art techniques to express themselves artistically as well as create finished artworks.
explore a variety of art forms including ceramics, drawing, mixed media, painting, printing and sculpture making.
- reflect on their work and respond to the artwork of their peers, using visual art terminology to identify and describe how the elements of art have been used.
- will be assessed and given a written report at the end of each term
Classes are taught by a qualified and experienced primary school Visual Arts Specialist and are limited to a maximum of 12 students for increased one-on-one attention
Classes will be run subject to minimum enrolments.
