These classes run to the school term dates and are usually 10 weeks. Students have priority to re-enrol in subsequent terms and benefit from the these regular classes both in their art skill levels and social skills.
Little Art ages 5 - 7, Kids' Art ages 8 to 12 These after school sessions are for children who would like to develop and learn new art skills. They are designed so that each student learns skills and techniques suited to their own level. Media may include drawing, painting, clay and print making. The age groups are flexible depending on the needs of individual students.
Kids' Drawing is for kids ages 8 to 12. We use different drawing media and also include colour. This is for children who are particularly interested in furthering their drawing skills.
This is a class for students aged 12 and over. These sessions are for students who would like to further their art interest and skills. The classes will extend their creative experience and introduce ideas and techniques that they may not be familiar with. As it is new, the scheduled time may change depending on requests so please don't hesitate to make an enquiry. The age groups are flexible depending on the needs and abilities of individual students.
These classes run on an 8 week term basis and begin with the school term. Individual class pages have the dates for current and future terms. It is highly recommended that you do as many terms as possible as there is much to be learned in every discipline. If you would like a 'taste' of drawing, watercolour or acrylics we run regular one-day Sunday workshops
These are ongoing classes that offer practice and tuition in different media and subjects. Classes are varied and structured. Students are all at different levels so support is given to individual needs.
Well known watercolour artist Torsten Knorr conducts structured watercolour classes for beginners and those who have dabbled a little and wish to further their watercolour experience. Drawing skills are not required.
Jacqueline Penton runs these classes. They are suitable for complete art beginners and people who wish to explore a new medium. You will learn about the colour wheel and mixing colours as well as using different media with acrylics to create interesting effects. Drawing skills are not required.
