Emails

We maintain email lists of our students both current and past as well as lists of people who have given us their address in various ways including telephone enquiries, workshops and business cards. When a visitor to this site gives us their email address, or sends us email correspondence, we retain the email address for promotional or information purposes only. We do not share our email lists with any third parties. You may opt-out of receiving promotional messages from us at any time by sending us an email with "Please remove" in the subject line.  Please note that ALL students who have an email address are added to our newsletter email list.

Classes

A term of classes is run subject to a minimum number of participants. A full refund will be given for any payments made if a cancellation occurs. Enrolments and payment for all our classes are on a term by term basis. Payment must be received at least 2 weeks for adults, and 1 week for children, prior to the start of the following term to confirm a place in the class. Every effort will be made to keep places for continuing students. However, we reserve the right to fill places if we have not had payment and confirmation that a student is returning. If any student cannot attend a class he or she may attend one of the other classes held during the same week if there is place in that class. Unfortunately no refund or credit can be given for missed classes.

Should classes fall on public holidays they will usually be moved to a later date during that term. This is usually scheduled prior to the start of the term. Students or parents of students will be informed of any changes to days, dates or times of any classes. Should we need to cancel a class for any reason, and not be able to make it up, a full refund for that class will be given.

The cost of adult's drawing classes includes tea, coffee and biscuits but does not include any materials although we usually have a lot of different media for students to try at no extra charge. The cost of kids’ classes includes all materials but no refreshments. We are happy for children to bring afternoon tea to the studio to have during the class.

Basic materials are usually available for purchase from the studio or can be ordered.

Cancellation Policy

Galleria Art Studio does not seek to benefit from cancellations, but we seek no loss either. In practical terms, that means a refund will be made equal to the amount received less a $20 administration fee.

Workshops

Running of scheduled workshops is subject to a minimum number of participants. This is usually 5 but cancellation is at the Studio’s discretion. A full refund will be given for any payments made if a cancellation by Galleria Art Studio occurs.

'Tools for Creativity' Workshops

If a booked workshop needs to be cancelled the following refunds will apply.

Full refunds are available for workshops if I am notified not less than 2 weeks from the workshop date. A fee of 10% of the workshop fee will be charged after this time and up to 2 days prior to the workshop date. Any cancellations within 48 of the workshop will incur a 50% fee. Refunds over these amounts will be at my discretion.
